Ajialouna relies on the generosity of  local, regional and international business partners to support the activities of the NGO. We actively engage with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments and units of businesses to coordinate, develop and implement targeted activities and programs. We also work with businesses interested to donate a percentage of sales, sponsor fundraiser events, or sponsor a sustainable program.

Check out our Partners Page to see some of our partners we’ve worked with and continue to work with to benefit those most in need.  Please reach out to us at admin@ajialouna.org to discuss additional ways and ideas to partner with Ajialouna.

Yes. You can choose how your donation will be allocated by heading to our donation page and selecting from a list of designated programs and campaigns.

However, we do also encourage donors who may be unsure of where to allocate their donation to select ‘General Support’ which helps Ajialouna utilize and allocate donations where they are most needed and in line with our mission.

Alternatively, you can also contact us directly at Ajialouna should you wish to discuss your potential donation further.

Ajialouna’s work focuses on supporting low-income families and children in need in the Lebanese community. Many volunteers and support staff also have strong ties to underserved and underprivileged communities and have a local network and information to make sure those who are most in need of assistance will be reached.

Zakat donations to Ajialouna are made to one of the following programs:

  • Orphan Sponsorship
  • Food Care Packages and Distributions
  • Life Petals Program – Children’s Cancer Program
  • Hygiene Kits
  • Elderly Citizen Medication Sponsorship
  • And other essentials for low-income families

Our donor base consists of generous contributions (both financial and in-kind) from individual donors, corporates and recently, particularly following the Beirut Port Explosion, from diaspora groups. Throughout the year, Ajialouna also holds targeted campaigns and fundraising events to raise funds for particular causes in light of identifying additional needs.

During the month of Ramadan, Ajialouna also receives Zakat donations, many of which are donated to programs such as orphan sponsorship, elderly medical and health care, covering medical costs of persons in need and additional social programs including food security.

As we continue to grow, we are actively applying and receiving grants from regional and international corporations and foundations.

You can volunteer by reaching out to us at info@ajialouna.org

Yes! Ajialouna works with other local NGOs year-round. Given the number of NGOs across Lebanon, we partner up with other NGOs on distributions, awareness workshops, campaigns and initiatives throughout the year to ensure a greater number of people are reached and receive much needed support.

Ajialouna’s executive committee and board members work on a volunteer basis and do not receive financial compensation for their time.

In Beirut, Ajialouna is conducting initial family assessments outdoors outside of its HQ. In addition, temperature checks are also conducted daily for any persons entering or exiting the HQ premises.

In Tripoli, Social assessment and visits have been moved online for most families. Donations/distributions to homes are done while implementing preventative measures (Both in Beirut and Tripoli), requiring volunteers to wear protective facial masks and distributing masks and spreading awareness about proper hygiene and the need for social distancing and wearing facing masks to beneficiaries.

Our employees and volunteers are provided schedules and are coming in on a rotational basis (alternating weeks). All employees and volunteers must wear masks at all times and hand sanitizers are distributed throughout our premises to encourage proper hygiene.
