The “Stay Close, Support Your Country from Afar” campaign was launched on the ‘YALLA GIVE’ online platform based in the UAE by Ajialouna in January 2021 as a response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Lebanon and the immense pressure on its healthcare system. Support and donations poured in from the Lebanese diaspora to support hospitals and NGOs to provide them with essential medical PPEs, oxygen concentrators and non-invasive ventilators in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
