The devastating explosion at the Beirut port on August 4, 2020 rocked the Lebanese capital, leaving more than 200 dead and 6,000 individuals wounded. The deadly blast left homes, businesses and public infrastructure uninhabitable and destroyed. The blast occurred while Lebanon was already reeling from the worst economic, political, financial and public health crises in over 30 years.
In the aftermath of the Beirut port explosion, Ajialouna launched its “كلنا بيروت” (We’re All Beirut) – to aid in the repair and reconstruction efforts of homes and small businesses that sustained damages.
